2012 tournament results and rating changes

Warmest greetings from the YMCA of Kuala Lumpur.

It is with great pleasure to inform you that the Management of the
YMCA of Kuala Lumpur has agreed to the setup of the Scrabble Corner
here at the YMCA and we would like to have a trial run on this session
beginning in the month of February. We will be providing the lounge
area where 4 tables could be set up there for players to play. We will
allocate the area for the usage of the Corner from 1pm to 7pm which
gives ample of time for players to enjoy their session here and the
sessions will be at no charge. Should the YMCA of Kuala Lumpur need to
utilize the lounge area on any Saturdays, a notice will be issued to
the participants 3 weeks in advance.

As for the parking, members of the YMCA KL will enjoy discounted
parking rates. Non members can apply as members to enjoy the benefits
of lower parking rates. As YMCA KL is situated on the opposite of KL
Sentral, we could be accessed by the Komuter, LRT and also the
Monorail.

The details of the Scrabble Corner sessions will be as follows:

     Date of Commencement    : 11th of February 2012
     Day                     : Saturdays
     Time                    : 1pm – 7pm
     Venue                   : Lounge Area , Level 1

As for the Scrabble boards, we do have some old ones which we can
provide for the participants to play. It would be best if the players
could bring in their own boards if they would prefer to use newer
boards. We do hope that the Scrabble Corner would be a success and we
could further develop this programme to serve the community better. I
